Last weekend was our first HIIT & Flow teacher training at Flex & Flow and I’m still reeling from all of the amazing inspiration! I am also sore, and seem to be perpetually sweaty. I swear, HIIT & Flow makes me sweaty just thinking about it.
If you haven’t yet tried HIIT & Flow, let me be the first to tell you that it’s no freaking joke. It is sweaty, like seriously an unparalleled level of sweat, and there’s a ridiculous muscle burn. You’re pushing yourself further than you ever thought you could (in a very low impact, joint friendly way!), and you always come back for more. Not only is it THE BEST cross-training for running there is, but that endorphin high though…

On top of the normally blissful endorphin high from HIIT & Flow, we’re riding the high that can only come from a weekend of learning and inspiration. Jamie, assisted by Nicci and Liz, led 6 sweat enthusiasts and yogis through a 12-hour intensive training that included sequencing, anatomy, and of course practicing all the HIIT & Flow.
Dive right on in, the water’s fine!
In my opinion, there’s no better way to learn something that to just dive right on in! After going through anything and everything HIIT & Flow, we got the trainees right into practice teaching their own classes. We split them up into pairs to co-teach a final 20-30 minute class to the group. Watching everyone plan their class and amp up their energy was an absolutely incredible experience! Everyone came into teaching with their own vibe, energy and unique personality, but they all collectively rocked the house (and made us SWEAT)!!
The weekend ended with big ole sweaty smiles from 9 HIIT & Flow teachers!
Not only did our 6 trainees leave armed with all the knowledge and encouragement to rock out their own HIIT & Flow classes, they also are leaving with a ton of awesome swag! Check out these epic swag bags!
