I just rediscovered a stash of Girl Scout cookies that I hid from myself a few months ago. Now I am drowning in Girl Scout Cookies, and it’s my own damn fault for buying so many boxes.
Don’t get me wrong–I don’t have a problem with Girl Scout Cookies per se. I’m all about having a damn cookie or two if you want one, unless there’s a pressing emotional need, in which case, I’m all about having the whole damn box of cookies.
But even without emotional stress, I still find myself downing a box of Dos-i-dos almost daily. At first, I couldn’t figure out why. I mean, obviously because they taste good. But usually my stomach will react to a few cookies and remind me that it’s just not a good idea to keep eating more sugar.
Girl Scout cookies somehow circumvented the warning system, though. I can have a whole box and not feel sick.
It’s helpless, guys. I just can’t stop.
