Cinco de Mayo is just around the corner! Though scrumptious delights like guac, queso, tacos, and margs are definitely not limited to May 5th, any reason to indulge in all of the above is a-ok with me!
Let’s take a look at some essentials, and yummy twists on classic recipes, to get ready for the big day.
For a classic margarita, I’m a fan of keeping it simple, and on the rocks. Combine 1 cup tequila, 2/3 cup fresh lime juice, and 1/3 cup Triple sec and mix well. Some recipes also call for 2 teaspoons of sugar. Rim four glasses with lime juice and dip in course sea salt before putting the ice cubes in the glass and pouring your mixture in. Voila! (Depending on the size of your glasses, this serves 4.)
For those of you looking for a non-alcoholic version of a marg, mix together the Tropical Limon flavor of fizzique with sparkling water and lime juice, and pour over ice. Garnish with salt around the rim and a lime for that Insta shot!

Vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, dairy free, gluten free… When almost literally everyone has a different dietary restriction or preference, planning tacos for a group of people can be challenging to say the least. A Whole Story to the rescue! Let each person build their own taco with the ingredients of their choice on top of a tortilla, and put them all on a baking sheet. Put the sheet in the oven at 400 degrees until the cheese has melted. And then each person can top their freshly-made taco with fresh ingredients. Perfecto!
