Your Packing List for Summer Fitcations

Fitcations are the new vacations, and there's a lot to love about a vacation that helps you get healthier instead of the other way around. Not to mention, you get to wear only athletic apparel for the entire time... and that's a gift unto itself.

If you're packing up for a fitcation this summer, here's the only packing list you need to make sure you sweat in style.

1. A great tote bag

There's so much to pack for a fitcation, from shoes to sunscreen to deodorant and lots and lots of socks. Oh, and any swag you pick up at expo halls. 🙂 We always bring an extra empty bag to fit in new acquisitions. Ideally, one that is spacious and can be used as a gym tote while you're at the event.

2. Beauty products that work with you

Chances are you won't be wearing much makeup on a fitcation, but that doesn't mean you can slack on taking care of your skin—especially if you'll be outdoors and getting plenty of sun exposure. Our favorite sun protection cocktail includes PROTECT ME from FRÉ Skincare, an SPF moisturizer that is sweat resistant (no burning trickles in your eyes!) and Sweat Cosmetics Mineral Powder with SPF 30.

3. Sports bras you can count on

If you're attending any of the fitcations we're hosting, you can bet that you're going to exercise. Choose a stylish and supportive sports bra so that you can comfortably work out. These are a few of our favorite finds.

4. Crops that go the distance

We all have that pair of shorts you ONLY run in, or the flowy pants you only wear to restorative classes. When you're packing, don't waste space on single-activity items. We find that crops are the most versatile - you won't get too hot when you run, and they'll keep you covered for yoga. 4. A journal for reflection
