Introducing Sweat Pink Colorado Springs!

Calling all our Colorado Springs SPAs! We are thrilled to announce our newest chapter, Sweat Pink Colorado Springs! Sweat Pink Chapters are an excellent resource to connect with healthy, active individuals in your area. Our chapters love to organize monthly Sip N’ Sweats and find several ways to #sweatpink weekly and monthly together.

Today, we want to introduce you to Samantha Todd, Sweat Pink Colorado Springs’ chapter leader. Samantha is killing it in the fitness world! Not only is she a new mom (congrats!), but she has also set big goals for what she wants to accomplish in 2017. Read on to learn a little bit more about Samantha and how you can get involved.

What is your job? I have always wanted to do something in the health and fitness industry. My dad was a personal trainer too, so I grew up doing gymnastics and competing in fitness competitions. I’ve always wanted to be involved in the corporate world and be self-employed, which I am doing today! I’m an NSCA-certified Personal Trainer and Health & Wellness Coordinator for School District 20 in Colorado Springs.

What are your goals as a chapter leader?  As a chapter leader, I want to empower women to be who they want to be. You can lift. You can be a mom and be healthy. It’s difficult to be a new mom and find time to workout, but it can be done. I want to inspire other women and make sure that moms are making time to have fun and take care of themselves. Sweat Pink Colorado Springs should be a healthy outlet for everyone.

What are you most looking forward to in 2017? It can be anything! I’m getting ready for a powerlifting competition. My goal is to make nationals, which ties into #sweatpink. I’m learning how to balance being a new mom and preparing for this competition.

Coffee or tea: Tea.

Kale or spinach: Kale!

Favorite time to workout: My schedule is all over the place! Whenever I can get it in. If I had my choice, I’d prefer late afternoon.

Workout of the moment: Weightlifting. Specifically, squats.
