Sore to the core

The ladies of Sweat Pink San Francisco met up for a Sip ‘n’ Sweat event at X-Core Lagree in the beautiful city of Oakland on October 28.

X-Core uses the Lagree Method™ workout, designed to strengthen, tone, and elongate the muscles. The calorie-burning workout is intense, but low-impact and safe on the joints, spine, and connective tissues. The 40-minute class is perfect for all fitness levels and everyone is class was truly “feeling the burn.”

The workout at X’Core is performed on the Megareformer, a spring-based trainer designed to work every part of the body, especially the core. The machine is a bit different that the standard reformer, with double the amount of springs. More springs allows each participant to manipulate tension to effectively work their own body and muscles.

Owner Cora Co-Owner, Cora, guided Sweat Pink attendees through set-up, form, and a tough 40-minute workout. The X’Core class was the perfect way to kick off the weekend.
