Hey friends, have you heard of Wild Friends?
Wild Friends is a Portland-based company run by two rad chicks, hence their Twitter handle: @2wildfriends. They discovered, after emptying yet another peanut butter tub as students at the University of Oregon, that they made pretty delicious nut butters in their very own kitchen! Who needs to make late-night peanut butter runs when you can do that?
Four years later, they have created a huge array of nut butters to choose from in thousands of stores across the country! Um, chocolate sunflower seed butter, anyone? Their products are 100% non-GMO, 100% Kosher, dairy-free (except for Protein+ flavors), and are free of palm fruit oil and other emulsifiers. All of the sunflower seed butters are organic, as well as many other ingredients. Have a peanut allergy? Don’t fret! Their almond and sunflower seed butters are made in a completely separate and peanut-free facility!
Wild Friends has some pretty creative nut butter flavors, including chocolate coconut peanut butter, cinnamon raisin peanut butter, vanilla espresso almond butter, and organic maple sunflower butter. Anybody else salivating?
It’s ok if your local grocery doesn’t carry Wild Friends because you can shop online! They even sell boxes of mini packets, which were a total hit in our booth at BlogFest! They give you a chance to taste the flavors, and are great to grab on the go.
Whether you’re spreading on toast or a bagel, dripping over ice cream, or just spooning out of the jar, Wild Friends nut butters should definitely be on your next grocery list!
Products were provided, but all opinions are my own.
